start spending $$$

As I was walking past one of the many TV's in the break area yesterday I saw that Bush was saying the economy is picking up.... Well the first thought that went through my head was... "If I wanted to make everyone in the US feel all warm and fuzzy and start spending $$$ for Christmas.. That would be exactly what I would tell the masses"
