A good (unethical) business plan????
The co. I work for has over 2 million customers in the one dept. I work under... A few months ago they changed there pricing plans for many the services they offer.... About a $10/month difference in price across the board for the different levels of service... Odd thing is that the co. Did NOT switch all customers over to the new pricing plan... Just guessing but at least half of the customers are paying the old cost... Oh we will switch the customer over to the new pricing plan if they ask... But if the customer doesn't say anything... No change... Keep charging the customer the old price until they complain... Credit... Oh im sorry that's another dept... There was two weeks that if you called into billing and had any change made to your bill then the customer would automatically get switched over to the new plan... Well like I said it only took two weeks for someone to find that "problem" and fix it... Any thing else takes 8 months of nagging, screaming, emails, notes, meetings, meetings about the meetings... Just for them to say oh we didn't know that was a problem... Then about the same time frame to find the person who can actually fix the problem...opps sorry they are on vacation for three weeks... (I currently get 4 days a year.. That's it... No paid holidays.. No I cant work the holidays.. No sick days..Etc)
Any way that's at least $10 million per month they are basically stealing form there own customers... (billing the customer $10/month more then the co. is really charging for the service)... Or is this just a good (unethical) business plan????
