Lieberman's Opposition in 2000 and 2006 both get 448,077 votes
Lieberman's Opposition in 2000 and 2006 Received the EXACT Amount of Votes, 448,077...
Why would Lamont '06, who was running to the left of Leiberman, get the exact same number of votes as Leiberman’s Republican opponent in ‘00?
I orginally saw this

I happened to say something about it to a friend at work and he said that would be IMPOSSIBLE. Thinking that I would find this to be another internet myth. I started searching for the election results for CT 2000 and CT 2006, finding evote.com first, I printed out both the 2000 and 2006 results. Showing a few people most were shocked but kind of blew it off, and mumbling some type of excuse like the webmaster of evote.com mistyped or forgot to change just that data, etc ... (LOL)
Digging deeper I found that yes many other websites showing the election results for the loosing candidate to be 448,077 votes ... Printing these out as well and showing them around, most started to see that something was fishy... One person though came up with the brilliant idea that ALL the sites were getting their results from the same place (trying to say that the org. source was wrong). I tried to point out that we probably would have a larger problem if there wasnt just one source (different #'s being reported and such). I still dont think that this person actually understood the implications of this data and just how improbable something like this could actually happen... I think I am going to let it sink in a little bit and bring it up again tomorrow.... I think the sadest part was that no one really seemed outraged by this "in your face" voter fraud... Az
