FDA'S NASTY PROPOSAL FOR "MYSTERY MILK" (AND ASPARTAME) FOR ICE CREAM

the FDA proposal that would change ice cream standards. FDA, following the ice cream manufacturers' lobby, wants to put "milk from species other than cows" in our ice cream. Also, FDA has nebulous language in the proposal by which the agency hopes to defuse the Aspartame/NutraSweet advisory label on the front panel of the package.

The public comment period ends on December 27, 2005.
