The question then becomes what is truth? Is something MORE true if more people believe it's true? And what does "truth" have to do with reality? Since both are so mutable and in constant flux we need to learn to be mutable ourselves. This is, perhaps, the reason for the middle way. If you can reach a place of simple observance and not become emotionally attached to whatever "truth" or "reality" is obtaining at any given moment, THEN you have a chance at understanding the true nature of reality. Here's a hint - joy.

Is this energy static or kinetic? If static our hopes are in vain; if kinetic - and this we know it is, for certain - then it is a mere question of time when men will succeed in attaching their machinery to the very wheelwork of nature." - Nikola Tesla
Keep a open mind - But not so open that your brain falls out
"Fill your bowl to the brim and it will spill. Keep sharpening your knife and it will blunt" - Lao Tzu
"You must be the change you wish to see in the world." - Mohandas Gandhi
